This interactive mat was designed for young pianists to preempt the occurrence of wrist tendinitis. The prescribed physical therapy stretch in this case is ulnar and radial deviation, which involves lateral flexion of the wrist. This device uses touch sensors, haptic feedback and sound to guide users through a series of stretches intended to keep the wrist joint supple.
